It's the end of August when gardens are looking their best in our climate so we decided to visit some new gardens we had not seen before.
The owner had moved in three years ago and had accomplished planting a garden well worth seeing.
This used to be grass and the owner was fed up with mowing.

The old water tower is no longer used and it's now occasionally used for concerts.
The owner built this shed around an old mango tree so that they could eat and relax outside on hot summer days. It's cooler under the tree which has dense foliage.

These days, most Aussie gardeners concentrate on local indigenous plants or those from Southeast Asia. This garden was more traditional.
