Spring arrives

This past winter has been one of the longest and coldest on record. However it has started to warm up in the past two weeks and Spring is in the air.

The birds are out twittering happily.

We are having one of our best daffodil displays ever. We have had some rain but not the heavy variety that smashes the stems down.

So perhaps there was some benefit to the long cold winter.
