The initial plan was to sleep in till about 9am but I was awake at 7am and ready to get up and go so off we went for a walk. There had been about a quarter inch of snow overnight and all was quiet with just a slight breeze. It was cold of course, about 24 degrees, but not too bad.
As we approached the bay we were greeted by a bunch of deer that ran off a few seconds later as we approached.
Retirement suits you, as we could have predicted. When's your first nap?
ReplyDeleteLooks like Pittsburgh, only not as cold nor as much snow.
ReplyDeleteIt didn't take you long to get into the retirement mode.
ReplyDeleteLooks as though you're off to a great start!
ReplyDeleteHmmm, this retirement is too lacadasical. Where are the daily posts?
ReplyDeleteRay's retired from them too, it would seem.
ReplyDeleteRay - Happy Retirement! You made a great start - gorgeous photos, it all looks so beautiful; wished I could have walked with the two of you there!
