Inexpensive dinner in Istanbul

Now that I am feeling more comfortable with Istanbul, I tried out an inexpensive restaurant near my hotel.

A spicy pea soup.

Some side dishes.

The main course which was Adana kebab, a kind of minced sausage cooked on a skewer. The plate was also loaded with rice, onion and flat bread.

Very basic. I got a can of cherry juice from the fridge up the back.

A cup of Turkish coffee that was pretty potent. I left about a quarter of an inch of sludge in the bottom of the cup. They sent out for the coffee.

Everything was tasty and the meal cost $7.
