Train from Glasgow to London

We just had to cross the street to get to Glasgow Central to catch our train.

It's a large impressive station as well as busy.

The train set off on time and soon crossed the Clyde River.

Soon we were out in the countryside.

And then into England.

It's so beautiful.

Interesting station.

Eventually we came to the Milton Keynes area where we went canal boating over twenty years ago. We really enjoyed the experience.

You eat, sleep and shower etc on the boat and tie up at night. You steer the boat and operate the locks and occasionally refresh yourself with a beer from the pubs that line the canal.

This bridge is one of the most famous in England. It's where the Great Train Robbery took place in 1963. It's just south of Leyton Buzzard.

I quite enjoyed the high speed train. It was quite comfortable.
