Kanazawa Station

We had to change trains at Kanazawa and wait about an hour for our next train to Toyama.

Kanazawa is the first Japanese station that we have come across that has plenty of seats. Most stations have none or very few. While I waited Robin wandered off to explore and she took the following pictures.

When Robin returned to guard our luggage, I went for a brief walk.

Naturally, I also took some pictures.

Yesterday I walked almost 10000 steps which is amazing for me. Travel forces you to walk further than you anticipate, but today my legs are sore so I won't walk as far

We very much liked the Kanazawa area. It seems less frenetic than the east coast.
