The restaurant was closed! Lots of the local restaurants are closed at this time of year or they only open for lunch.
Still, we did not get upset and wandered down to the Esplanade.
We found a suitable place.
And ordered the paella. It was ok but not as tasty as the cuttlefish rice the night before.
We were the last customers and the owner gave us a complimentary limoncello when we told him our 50-year story.
Here is the proof. I had a three month Eurail Pass and I kept track of where I went and how many miles I had travelled.
