This was our first rest day where I would do no driving and our friend, Brian, took me to the workshop at the local steam railway.
We parked by the local cricket ground.
They run several trains per day to nearby Pickering.
Rail crossing with the station in the background.
A small stream between the street and the workshop.
This was the original tunnel where wagons were pulled by horses.
Steam engines being fixed.
An old diesel engine that was used a lot on British railways.
Loading with coal.
