Driving on the narrow roads with passing spots is tiring, particularly in a manual car, so I had l good nap when we returned to the hotel. Feeling that I needed some exercise, we went for a walk along the street one back from the street by the water.
Read the sign over the door.
It was dusty and hot on the street down by the water but much more pleasant on this street.
Now that is a door that gets your attention.
It's so lush here.
It appears to be galvanized iron which is very common on roofs in Queensland.
Old cemetery.
We will drive by this lake on the way to Fort William tomorrow.
My dinner of Cullin Skink was not quite enough so I tried this dessert called Cranachan which was very refreshing. Fresh raspberries and whipped cream are bolstered by oatmeal and whiskey.
