I follow a blog by an English woman who is gradually walking around the coasts of England, Wales and Scotland. She started in 2010 and has been doing the west coast of Scotland for a while. She mentioned in a recent blog that she got caught short and had to wee behind the bush next to this gate. I found it.
We pulled over here where a birder told us ospreys could be seen. We have some in Hervey Bay and a few days before we left there was a young one perched on a jetty light pole as I walked past.
It was a very picturesque drive but with few places to pull over and very busy traffic.
Consequently, there are very few photos today.
We stopped at Plocton where the tide was out.
My advice is not to drive on a weekend, particularly on a nice sunny day.
