A visit to Melbourne

My sister and brother-in-law who lived in Georgia recently moved to Melbourne. They can't host us yet and recently we were offered a house exchange in the Docklands in Melbourne. We accepted and flew down yesterday.

Sunrise in Urangan occurs about 6:15 whereas it was about 7:30 when I took this photo. The phone camera has brightened this considerably.

This area used to be shipping docks.

We took a couple of trams to my sister's place which is next to a park. I used to walk to work along this path back in 1975/1976. It was a wonderful commute.

It's the depth of winter here and very cold and damp compared to Urangan.

We then visited the nearby Prahran Market. 

There is nothing like this in Hervey Bay so it is wonderful to wander around here.

It's not cheap here but it is top quality. It's a wealthy area.
