Bloemenmarkt

My mother was a keen gardener but somehow the gardening gene was not passed down to her children. However this market, the Bloemenmarkt, was special and I kept thinking she would have really enjoyed it.

It's amazing what a zoom lense will do for you.

One side of this section of the Singel canal is lined with the world's only floating flower market.

It's all very touristy so you can also get clogs here.

It was a pleasure to stroll along and look at all the colours. My mother would have really enjoyed it.
